Hi to all the boys and girls in Junior Infants!
We hope you are all keeping safe and well, we miss you all!
Here is a grid of the home learning for this week. Remember, there is no pressure and you can pick and choose which seesaw activity you do each day – the grid is just a guide!
Don’t forget to upload your completed activities onto seesaw (1 activity each day) and to access https://www.oxfordowl.co.uk/ to do some reading practice at home.
Looking forward to seeing all your lovely work and also to seeing you when we get back to school!
From Sinéad, Amy and Orla.
Friday March 6th, we celebrated World Book Day in Room 7 with a very exciting trip to our school library and as a special treat we were joined by 3rd class for some Buddy Reading.
We paired up with a 3rd class student and picked a story to read with them.
As we are working so hard on our reading in interventions, spotting tricky words and sounding out new words in was a great opportunity to put all these skills into practice!
Take a look at the pictures below to see all the fun we had – you might even spot some sibling buddy readers!
