Useful Websites for Literacy, Numeracy and Aistear

Hello all,

Firstly, thank you to all of you who have come along to the first two meetings about the Jolly Phonics Programme, Ready Set Go Maths and Aistear. We hope these meetings have given you a better insight into what we are teaching in these curricular areas and also some ideas on how you can work on the various concepts at home with your child.

As discussed at this morning’s session, below is a list of some useful websites with free educational games for literacy and numeracy, some also have free printable resources. Many of these games will be familiar to your child and can be a great way of recapping on the learning taking place in school.

Thank you again for your time. We hope to see you next week when Lisa and Fergal will talk through some of the key principles of the Learn Together Programme along with the Educate Together ethos. There will be tea and coffee available to parents following next Thursday’s meeting at 8.30am.

Best wishes,

Cliona, Niamh and Lisa.
