It’s been a while since our last update in Alison’s class and so much happened since then! Take a look at some photos of the fantastic activities we have taken part in this year.
For Friendship Week we made friendship bracelets and helped Elaine O’s class with some maths.
For Engineer’s Week we made sturdy constructions with marshmallows and spaghetti, paper bridges and slime.
Céilí dancing for Seachtain na Gaeilge.
We got our very own grow-box. We planted; beetroot, sunflowers, carrots and garlic. We also planted potatoes and strawberries in grow bags.
The Mad-Hatter’s Walk. Well done to everyone for making some fantastic home-made hats.
We had a great time at Sports Day.
The highlight of our year was visiting Causey Farm. We went on a tractor ride, completed an obstacle course, learned all about bogs and turf and we had so much fun jumping into the bog and getting really mucky. We also met and fed some friendly farm animals, found our way through some tricky mazes and got to blow giant bubbles. Thank you so much to Causey farm and especially our fantastic instructors Jane-Anne and Ross for looking after us for the day.
