Thank you for all your engagement with Seesaw and Razkids over the past number of weeks. We are very proud of the work you have done at home and you should all be very proud of yourselves.
We have organised a few more activities for you to finish out the school year. We have also put together a reading list for you, following recommendations from your fellow classmates. Logon to seesaw to check them out.
We hope you have a wonderful summer. Take advantage of all Ireland has to offer – walk on the beach, swim, cycle, run, go camping, have a picnic, read in the shade and most importantly have fun! We will see you all again in 4th class!
Well done to everyone you entered this week’s competition. You were asked to design an end of year t-shirt. I was delighted with all the entries. I received a range of colourful pictures, innovative patterns and heartwarming slogans.
This week 3rd class were asked to build a reading fort – a place in the house where one can read books but also play games, draw or just hang out with family members. I received lots of fantastic entries. You are an extremely creative bunch. Well done!
Congratulations to this week’s winner, who designed an incredible fort with the help of her family. It contains lots of different elements including pictures, lighting and a comfy area. Check it out below.
I hope you all enjoyed Get Active Week. I loved seeing all the pictures and videos. It looked like everyone was having so much fun! I received so many recipes for healthy meals too and can’t wait to try them out.
Well done to everyone who entered this week’s competition. You were set the challenge of teaching an activity that would be suitable for GAW. This week’s winner is a skateboarding pro! Check out the video below.
Happy Friday 3rd class! Well done to everyone who took part in this week’s competition. You were asked to create your own short comic. I thoroughly enjoyed reading them all. There was a fantastic mixture of funny, spooky and adventurous comics. Congratulations to this week’s winner Kristine.
Hi everyone! Well done to all the boys and girls who entered this week’s Selfie Sculpture competition. You were asked to gather items around your house that represent something meaningful about you and create a sculpture from them. I received lots of fantastic entries but as always there can only be one winner!
Congratulations Talya! You are this week’s winner. Your selfie sculpture is creative, meaningful and most of all fun! Well done.
Read the inspiration behind Talya’s sculpture below:
“For my sculpture I have used my favourite cushion as the head . As the hair and body I have used my favourite blanket, that I love getting wrapped up in when I’m watching a movie. This is all sitting on top of my purple step, that I’ve had since I was two years old, to help me reach everything I need. The face is made up of my favourite hair accessories and craft stickers”.
