Happy Diwali Everyone :)

Today in school we were learning about Diwali. Diwali, the Hindu festival of lights, is the most popular of all the festivals from South Asia. It is also an occasion for celebration by Jains and Sikhs. We are very lucky to have some children in our school who celebrate Diwali. Two children in 2nd class visited each classroom today to teach the other children about Diwali and  how they celebrate Diwali at home. The children talked about their beautiful traditional clothes, the traditional food they eat and some of the ways in which they celebrate Diwali with their families. We all really enjoyed the children educating us. Thanks for sharing your information with all of us, you were very brave.
