Wooly Wards Farm

We were so lucky to have Wooly Wards Farm visit our school last week.
The boys and girls in room 4 got to meet lots of small and big animals. Calum and Denise even allowed us to hold and pet some of the small animals. We met guinea pigs called Biscuit and Chocolate, a Syrian hamster called Peanut, a Mongolian gerbil called Bubbles, 4 week old lop eared rabbits, 3 day old chicks, a pig called Summer, Nibbler the duck (who nibbled our clothes!!), a rooster and hen, some baby lambs and a kid goat.
Calum showed us how to hold the small animals properly so that they wouldn’t get hurt or feel scared and DeniseĀ held the rooster so we could touch its soft feathers.
It was very exciting and we had great fun! image1image3 image4 image5 image6 image7 image8 image9 image10
