We have had a very busy half term in Room 11. All the boys and girls are settled back into a new school year and having lots of fun. In September, we were learning all about jobs in our community. We were very lucky to have a nurse and a soldier visit our class and tell us all about the work that they do. The children were very excited and had some really good questions to ask about their jobs.
Over the past few weeks, we were also learning about Our Homes. We learnt all about the different rooms in our homes and all the different types of homes we live in. In Art, we were able to construct different rooms using shoe boxes. The boys and girls worked very well together to create unique rooms with their own designs and patterns. Here are some of the happy workers
Other events, such as Jersey Day were a huge success where the children were really excited to wear their Jersey into school and we raised some money for the charity GOAL.
Also, our open evening which took place on 11th October where the children got to show off all their hard work to their parents was a huge success. Thank you to all who attended.
Hope you all have a lovely Mid Term Break next week and see you back on Monday 6th November
